Volunteers are needed at all auxiliary functions

Auxiliary President Message

I would like to start out by saying Happy Holiday's to everyone!

We are having a better second half of the year at the Vets Club with all of our Auxiliary Functions. For example, the Auxiliary Breakfast was a real good turnout. The Halloween Children's Party was a big success for starters. It was a good turnaround from the beginning of the fiscal year! And I would like to thank everyone who volunteered for all of our functions to date, they are: Nancy and Larry Pendolf, Debbie Penc, Debbie Zabek, Ron Usyk, Tom and Rosie Furmanski, Debbie Clarke, Gene Militello, Mary Ann and Ozzie Osvoldik, Brian and Donna Williams, Dave and Millie Welsh, Alissa O'Conner, Robin Cooper, Abbi Cooper, Kim Petronella, Pam Jadlowski, Jennifer Pawelek, Paul Hinkston and if I missed anyone I do apologize.

But I would like to restate the importance of volunteerism!  We do need new blood for our Auxiliary Functions!!  We have the same people for these functions and they are starting to get tired of doing them!

Sooner or later they will not want to do them anymore, meaning NO MORE AUXILIARY FUNCTIONS!  Like the Breakfasts, children's party, 10/10 or even Italian night!  Sorry to be straight forward, but IT'S THE TRUTH!

But to leave this message on a good note, I would like to say Happy Holiday's and a Happy New Year to everyone! Hope to see everyone for the 2011 year!  Either at a meeting, Auxiliary Function of just stopping in at the club!

Your Auxiliary President,

Nancy Pendolf

Club Grounds.

At this time, I would like to thank Ken Eddy and Ozzie Osvoldik for their help with the club grounds during the summer. Also, Dick Abel who helped me finish mowing the club grounds due to the untimely passing of Bill Sylvester. Bill was a big help to me.

Thanks also goes to Gene Militello, Dick Hughes, Dave Furmanski, Hans Rueger, Rich Maynard, Ozzie Osvoldik, John Wazkiewicz, Todd Sauer, Dave Welsh Jr. and Ken Eddy for their help for closing the pavilion for the winter.
